Tom Marano has always been a man with a plan.
The George Washington High School junior has guided the Eagles on a magical ride this baseball season – the squad put together a 15-5 overall record and moved deep into the Public League postseason.
The honor student is just as productive in the classroom, paying the same attention to his classes and homework.
On the field, his game plan encountered a nasty curveball last week – the Eagles fell to Frankford High School in the Public League semifinals – but despite the setback, Marano is sticking to his schedule.
He trains daily with Extra Innings, a baseball training facility in Bensalem. And throughout most of the spring, he can be found practicing five days a week with his Washington High baseball squad.
